Our microcement MARFINO CONCRETE SURFACE is a high-quality wall covering for inside and outside, which is applied with trowel or spatula. This makes it very easy to create attractive visible concrete surfaces on walls, jointless bathrooms and mineral furniture fronts.
MARFINO CONCRETE SURFACE contains cement as a binder and is therefore permeable to diffusion and non-combustible. It can also be used in permanently damp environments without any problems and is absolutely insensitive to mould formation due to its alkalinity. In addition, MARFINO CONCRETE SURFACE is extremely low in emissions due to its low proportion of plastic additives and is therefore very suitable for use in living areas.
MARFINO CONCRETE SURFACE is particularly easy to process. With the right substrate preparation, it can be applied to almost any surface. We recommend priming the substrate with our SQ Penetrating Primer in order to achieve optimum adhesion. Old tiles can also be coated with MARFINO CONCRETE SURFACE without any problems, if a thin layer of our KLEMO adhesive mortar is applied first. In the same way, substrates made of plasterboard or wood panels are prepared, whereby a light mesh fabric should then be worked into the adhesive mortar to prevent cracks. In wet areas (showers, etc.) the substrate should be waterproofed with our DSB Waterproofing Grout. Further details on the application can be found in the product data sheet.
MARFINO CONCRETE SURFACE is supplied in powder form and can therefore be stored for an extremely long time in a dry environment. For use, the white powder is mixed with water and coloured as desired by adding our pigments. The ready-to-use mass can be used for at least three hours. The consumption is approx. 400 to 800 g powder per square metre with single layer application.
